The Alabama Trail System is a proposed connection of several existing trails and some currently under construction that will form a series of long paths and loop trails throughout Alabama. Trails can be added to the Alabama Trail System upon request and then approval by AHTS.
As you can see on the status map to the right there is plenty of work to be done. Building such a trail system so that everyone can enjoy the beauty of Alabama takes years of careful planning and negotiations and AHTS is in the forefront of making this dream a reality.
We invite you to join us and help make this dream come true.
