Support and Volunteer Opportunities with AHTS

AHTS is a non-profit organization and as such, we rely on donations and vounteers to help us continue our mission. Whether you're interested in organizing an activity, doing trail work, helping with a committee, or making a monetary or "Wish List" donation, we have an opprotunity for you. Volunteer Opportunities

It takes dedicated volunteers to help AHTS achieve our mission. Share your love of hiking and backpacking and give back to the community by signing up as a volunteer today. Some of the many opportunities include:

Some of your volunteer time and expense is tax deductible! And trail workers working ten or 100 get a special AHTS Volunteer Patch and for working the Pinhoti or Flagg Mountain Trail you get a trail shirt!

Sponsor AHTS

By becoming a a sponsor of an AHTS event or activity, not only do you help AHTS continue our mission but also take advantage of our public relations which reaches hundreds of media outlets, hikers, and outdoor enthusiasts. Your name or company will be identified in all press releases, print material, and other event related items as a generous sponsor who believes in the protection of our environment, public education, and continuing the effort to provide save and beautiful hiking experiences for the public. AHTS is a 501c3 non-profit and as such, donations, sponsorships, and much of your volunteer time and expense is tax-deductible (contact your tax preparer for more information.)
